We tour Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 10:30 in the morning, with afternoon times available too. Come see a real session in progress, not a staged one. Bring your child; they will tell you more than we can.
About Little Peaks
Small classrooms, close attention.
Little Peaks is built around the things that actually matter to a young child's day: classes small enough that every child is known, a schedule that makes sense to a two-year-old, and teachers with the time to notice how each one is doing.
Our curriculum is play-based and developmentally appropriate, with clear learning goals for each age group. Children build early literacy and math skills through activities that feel, to them, entirely like play — because that is how it works best at this age.
We are a dye-free center. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are all served here, made without artificial dyes — a small thing that makes a real difference for a lot of families, and one less thing to pack.
Alongside the daily routine we run yoga classes, which children love more than you would expect. Stretching, balancing and breathing turn out to be a good way in to body awareness, focus and settling big feelings.

Every age, one approach.
Children move up when they are ready, not on a birthday. Transitions are gradual — visits to the next room start weeks before the move.
18 – 36 months
The Wild West Room
The busiest, most talkative stretch of early childhood. Language takes off, and so does the urge to do everything without help.

A day at Little Peaks
A rhythm children can count on.
Young children settle fastest when the day is predictable. Ours follows the same shape every day, so children always know what comes next. Infant rooms follow each baby's own schedule instead.

Arrival & breakfast
Doors open and breakfast is served as children arrive and settle in.
8:00 – 9:00
Morning circle
Songs, calendar and weather, then a look at the day ahead together.
9:00 – 9:30
Morning snack & stories
A shared snack at small tables, followed by books on the rug.
9:30 – 11:00
Learning centers & outdoor play
Small-group literacy, math and art, plus playground time — our indoor playroom in bad weather.
11:00 – 12:00
Lunch
Family-style meals at small tables, with plenty of time to eat and talk.
12:00 – 2:30
Nap & rest
Cots down for nappers; quiet puzzles and drawing for children who no longer sleep.

Afternoon snack
A second snack to carry everyone through the rest of the day.

Enrichment, outdoor play & pickup
Yoga, music and hands-on projects across the week, a second block outside, and unhurried goodbyes.
Facilities & safety

Everything below is documented in our parent handbook, which we hand you on your tour rather than making you ask for it.
- Fully licensed and inspected. Current state license and inspection reports available on request and posted in the entry hall.
- Every educator is background-checked and holds pediatric first aid and CPR certification, renewed every two years.
- Secure single entry with keypad access, camera intercom, and a signed release list for every child.
- Allergy-aware kitchen. Nut-free site, individual care plans, and separate preparation for restricted diets.
- Fenced playgrounds with age-appropriate equipment and cushioned surfacing, inspected each morning before children go out.
- Cameras throughout the building. Every classroom, playground and common area is covered, so activity is recorded wherever children are.
- A large indoor playroom for gross-motor play, so rain, snow and extreme heat never cost the children their active time.
- Clear illness policy shared up front, so you always know when to keep a child home and when they can return.

Print these at home, fill them in, and bring them to your first day — or drop them off any weekday between 7:00am and 5:30pm. If it is easier, we have paper copies at the front desk.
Pacifiers (under 2)
Colorado requires infants be offered a pacifier at every sleep time unless you sign a waiver. Say yes or no here, and send in your own pacifier.
Field Trip & Stroller Ride Permission
Covers field trips, nature walks and neighborhood outings for the year. Families of infants and non-walking children sign the stroller section too.
Cot Permission
Lets your child use a cot at rest time. Children move to a cot from 12 months when they are ready, and all are on cots by 18 months.
Emergency Information & Authorization
Emergency contacts, authorized pickups, physician and insurance details, and consent for treatment and transportation.
Parent Handbook
Our mission, hours, meals, rest time, illness and closure policies, pickup rules and daily routines. Worth reading before your first day.
Parent Contract
Contracted days, fees, payment terms and center policies. Signed at enrollment and reviewed each year.
Pictures & Video Release
Grant or deny permission for each place photos may appear — Brightwheel, classroom displays, our website, Facebook and Instagram. Choose separately for each.
Topical Preparations
Your choices on sunscreen, lotion, diaper cream and ointment. Please send in your own sunscreen, SPF 15 or higher.
Please do not email health or immunization records. Bring them in person or drop them at the front desk, so your child's medical information stays out of email. Questions about any form? Call us on (719) 300-8907.

Most families move from first inquiry to first day in three to five weeks.
Book a tour
Weekday mornings 8:30 to 10:30, or an afternoon slot if that suits you better. Bring your child if you can.
Complete the paperwork
Download the enrollment forms, fill them in, and bring them with you — get the forms.
Meet your room
Two short settling-in visits with the teachers who will actually care for your child.

Phased first week, with as much handholding as your family needs.

Full time and part time schedules, billed on a regular cycle. Ask us for the current rate sheet for your child's room.
